三、 Overall description of the machine
The machine tool adopts the mid-waist column moving horizontal axis moment table layout type (see Figure 1): the table realizes longitudinal feeding on the bed, the column moves to realize the transverse feeding movement, and the grinding head makes vertical lifting and lowering movement on the column, and these three movements are completed by AC servo motor - ball screw sub-transmission system. The center waist column moving structure has high rigidity and high stability. The machine adopts German SIEMENS 828D numerical control system, which controls the longitudinal feeding movement of the table, the vertical feeding movement of the grinding head, the transverse feeding movement of the column and the rotary movement of the rotary table respectively. It can control the start and stop of the grinding head spindle and program the line speed, and can control the start and stop of the dresser.

The guideways of the three main moving structures - X, Y and Z axes - are preloaded, backlash-free, high-precision, heavy-duty roller linear guides, thus guaranteeing maximum rigidity, precision and service life. Another feature: minimal maintenance requirements, mainly due to the absence of oil leakage, oil consumption or regular wear and tear of parts requiring maintenance.

Each feed axis is driven by preloaded precision ball screws and AC servo motors.
3. Position measurement
The X-axis is a linear encoder (glass scale), the Y and Z-axis are linear encoders (glass scale), which do not need to return to zero when powering on.
4. Grinding spindles and their drives (SP axis)
CNC controlled grinding spindle programmable constant line speed control, allowing a maximum speed of 3000 rpm. the spindle is a sleeve type structure, grease pre-lubricated and sealed for life maintenance-free.
5、Form dressing of grinding wheels (optional)
Depending on the process requirements, a diamond pen dresser mounted on the table can be used to dress the grinding wheel.
A table-mounted grinding wheel dresser is also available, with dressing functions for shaped diamond rollers and diamond discs.
6、numerical control system
The machine tool adopts SIEMENS 828D numerical control system, which improves the degree of automation and reliability. During the grinding process, in addition to loading and unloading of workpieces, the period (grinding of workpieces, dressing of grinding wheels, etc.) is completed automatically, which improves the production efficiency and reduces the number of operators.
